Dr. Kevin Skinner is a licensed marriage and family therapist, author, educator, and relationship expert specializing in betrayal trauma, sexual addiction, and couples healing. For more than two decades, he has worked with individuals and couples navigating the complex impact of sexual and relational betrayal. Dr. Skinner is the creator of the Intimacy Repair Method (IRM), an assessment-informed approach designed to help individuals and couples understand the impact of betrayal, identify patterns that interfere with healing and recovery, and develop a clearer path toward relational repair.

His work emphasizes emotional safety, accountability, compassion, and rebuilding connection after trust has been disrupted. In addition to his clinical work, Dr. Skinner trains therapists, teaches internationally, hosts educational programs and podcasts, and develops practical resources for individuals, couples, and clinicians. His goal is to translate research and clinical experience into clear, practical guidance that helps people better understand what they are experiencing and what can help them move forward.
